LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR STUDENTS

The training of students in leadership was held on the 12th October, 2023. This is one of the exclusively stamped training program of the school aimed at equipping students with progressive leadership skills in order for them to become good leaders in the society.

In his vision to groom youths in strategic leadership, the manager/principal, Fr Peter Nwadimkpa instituted a Centre for Leadership Training known as "Thomas Lickona Centre for Character and Leadership." The centre, in collaboration with the Guidance/Counseling Unit of our college, organizes and delivers seminars for young people particularly the senior students of the college. This is to enable them to understand the value of effective leadership thereby improving their course at the time our society scores low in leadership sphere.

The first term seminar which was anchored by Mr. Vincent (surname withheld) was motivational with encouraging leadership quotes that usher the interest of the students' audience. In response, the students had time to ask questions and got clarifications on matters of concern that boarders on leadership and followership.
It was indeed a seminar to reckon.

Thanks to the school management for creating opportunities that will make impact to our esteemed students. Kudos to director of the leadership centre, Master Emmanuel K. Onyema and the Unit head of G/C Mrs. Njideka Okosa for organizing and Coordinating the training.

May the efforts of training our young ones not be in vein.
